Now that the election is over, I have a question for you. I can understand people disagreeing with Sarah Palin’s politics, as a matter of fact I’m a Democrat and I didn’t agree with her. But what I don’t understand is why you kept hearing that she was “incompetent.” I’ve never heard people say that about a male governor! Isn’t this another example of women being held to a different—and higher–standard?

I’m a mid career professional and all my performance evaluations have been excellent. However, I should have been promoted two years ago. I wasn’t – but a younger male professional was. I want to find out why – I can’t think of anything other than discrimination.
